Issue Scout ("we", "us") is operated by BrokenAI LLC, a Wyoming (USA) limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, subscribe to the free digest, or buy Issue Scout Pro.
What we collect
- Email address — when you join the free digest or buy Pro, so we can send you the digest.
- Billing details — Pro payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; we receive your email, name, country, and subscription status.
- Email engagement — our email providers may record delivery, bounces, opens, or clicks to keep sending reliable.
- Basic site analytics — our host may log standard request data (IP address, user agent) for security and aggregate traffic stats. We do not use advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To send the free weekly digest or the daily Pro digest you asked for.
- To manage your subscription, billing, taxes, and support requests.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
Service providers
We share data only with providers that help run the service: Stripe (payments), Buttondown (free newsletter list), Resend (Pro email delivery), and Cloudflare (website hosting). Each processes data under its own privacy terms.
Retention & your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link or by replying "unsubscribe".
- Cancel Pro anytime from the billing link in each Pro email.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete your data at support@brokenai.ca. Billing records may be kept as required by tax law.
Issue data
The digest links to public GitHub issues and repositories. We only use publicly available GitHub data.
